Advanced Acai Review

June 3rd 2009 02:12
What Do They Say?

Advanced Acai is another acai berry weight loss product that trys to lure in the dieter with frills, thrills and a purple website. What is it about purple that is so important to the succes of an acai berry weight loss product? The Advanced Acai website is so similar to the hundreds of other websites that the information could almost be interchanged.

What Do They Add?

Acai Berry, Green Tea, ChromeMate, Raspberry Ketones and Ginseng Extract.

What Do They Do?

For me it is not what they do, but what they offer. This is one of the very few acai products that offers a complete list of ingredients. High five to the Advanced Acai manufacturer.

Other than this positive, there is nothing good to say. The acai berry is not a great weight loss ingredient. It is better suited for overall health instead of weight loss. The higher fiber content could help to supress appetite and increase bowel movements, but that is the sole power of the acai related to weight loss.

What Do They Want?

They want you to try the product free (plus $3.95 shipping and handling). After 30 days, if the product is not returned, the dieter will be charged $79.95 for the product and additional bottles of the Advanced Acai each month until the autoship is cancelled.

BEWARE of this Acai scam.
I tried the "free" trial with a reduced shipping and handling charge of $1.97. After seeing no results in weight loss or bowel cleansing, I called their customer support dept. and asked to cancel all business with them.
I was told my account would be cancelled with no further charges and or product shipments. When I offered to return the unused portion of product, I was told that would not be necessary.
The next month I was charged $39.95 on my credit card. After calling the 877 number on my bill, I was told the 39.95 was for the trial product since the unused portion was never returned.
Beware and fore warned!
