Day Nine
Today I weighed in at 92.2kgs I am so amped!!!! This helps to make up for my disastrous day yesterday. I have never done this before and it must be because I am getting too thin. I cried at the shops. OK I was a blubbering mess, all because the guy at the optometrist wouldn’t give me my contact lenses until I paid $130, despite the fact that I was told they would be totally covered by my health fund and I would only need to pay $30 for the appointment. I think what did it was the fact that I had the contact lens attached to my eyes, and I was going to have to take them out and give them back, I felt like a common criminal.
Anyway I did learn something from this, if you cry you get what you want. The shop assistant wrapped it all up for me and very nicely told me to leave; we could sort it out on Monday. I was shocked when I left the store, I am not a very sensitive person, I came to the conclusion that as I am now thin (well near enough) I must be getting weaker; this explains the actresses who cry when they receive awards. Luckily I am not an aspiring actress; I wouldn’t even be able to get down the red carpet. And yes, now I have contacts, for the first time. They make me feel more attractive and highlight my lovely green eyes.
