Fish and Chip set back

 Day Sixty One 
Well I have had a bit of a set back; it’s called fish and chips. Last night, it was my husband’s birthday, so we had take-away for tea. After I had finished gorging myself I felt gross. I was not feeling euphoric or happy. I really could have done without it.
Still feeling sick, I decided that maybe a piece of chocolate cake might make me feel better……..no…………..what about a chocolate bar……………no………..when will I learn? You can’t get high from food!!!!!!!
I have all these preconceptions that equate to me believing that unhealthy food will make me feel great. But lately when I have fatty food I just feel bloated and unaccomplished. I am learning (slowly) that it’s not the food that makes your evening fun it’s what you are doing and who you are with. So tomorrow night I have arranged Brad Pitt to join me for dinner, this should help me to avoid food altogether.
I have decided that since I am now at day sixty-one I should reflect on the most important parts of my journey so far:
1. It is important to learn about the nutritional value of foods and how to read labels properly
2. Drink 1 litre of water per day (I know everyone says it but it’s true, it works, in fact you are supposed to drink more)
3. High fibre cereal makes a great morning tea
4. Apples taste nice
5. Exercise really does make you feel good (better than a Mars bar)
6. Hot chips are spawned from the devil
7. So is chocolate
8. I am not the only person who is obsessed with food
9. Do not go on a fad diet, it doesn’t work
10. So far I have succeeded, so I am not going to quit when I start to go off track
11. Fairy bread is for children, so is ice cream cake!
I am not going to tell you how much I weigh because I have stopped looking, all I can say is that I am not going to my concert!
